FAQ
Yes — and that’s exactly who this course is built for. If you can send an email and use Microsoft Word, you have every skill required. We don’t teach coding, we don’t teach machine learning theory, and we don’t assume you’ve ever touched Claude or ChatGPT. Every lesson is screen-recorded, step-by-step, and paced for working attorneys — not Silicon Valley engineers.
No — but using it wrong can be. The ABA, every state bar that has weighed in, and a growing list of court orders have made clear that AI use is permitted (and increasingly expected) when done competently and with proper safeguards. The entire first module is dedicated to keeping you on the right side of Rules 1.1, 1.6, 5.3, and 5.5 — plus your state’s specific guidance. You’ll finish knowing exactly what’s allowed, what’s risky, and what’s off-limits.
Correct — and we’ll show you why, when, and how that line gets crossed. More importantly, we’ll walk you through the specific tools and configurations that let you use AI on real client matters without breaching confidentiality. There are right ways and wrong ways. We teach the right ways.
We dedicate an entire module to the Mata v. Avianca problem and the dozens of cases that have followed. You’ll learn the verification workflow that makes hallucinated citations functionally impossible to file — the same checks litigators at sophisticated firms now use as standard practice. Skip this module and you’re at risk. Complete it and you’re protected.
Yes. All learners will receive a certification after course completion and passing the exam. You will receive an AI certificate digital badge.

The opposite. Solo and small-firm attorneys benefit most from AI, because every hour you save is an hour you couldn’t have billed any other way. BigLaw has associates and contract attorneys to absorb low-leverage work. You don’t — which is exactly why this matters more for you.
Yes. The course is built around tasks every litigator does — drafting, discovery, research, deposition prep, motion practice, client communication — not around a specific practice area. We include practice-area-specific examples throughout, and the workflows translate cleanly across civil and criminal litigation.
Fair question. Three answers: First, it’s not — every major court, bar association, and legal vendor has now built AI into their roadmap. Second, even if a specific tool fades, the workflows you learn (verification, prompting, ethical use, document review systems) transfer to whatever comes next. Third, if you’re wrong and we’re wrong, the course is backed by a 10-day refund — you risk nothing to find out.
