About EffektivAI – AI Training for Legal Professionals Built on Ethics First
EffektivAI teaches litigators and small firms to use AI safely and effectively. Founded on 30 years of business automation and training experience, ethics first.
Why EffektivAI Exists
AI is the biggest shift in legal practice since electronic research and most lawyers are learning it from headlines about sanctions instead of from structured training. We built effektivAI to fix that: practical, plain-English AI training for litigators and small firms, grounded in your ethical obligations from the very first lesson.
Our Knowledge
Our technology experts have worked in the legal industry for more than 30 years, training civil litigators as well as federal civil and criminal attorneys. In that time, our team developed training programs, written training manuals, and taught attorneys directly.
We have also worked side by side with attorneys as their technology support through every stage of litigation, from discovery through trial.
It is that background and hands-on knowledge that allows us to understand how litigation actually works and to deliver AI training built for the way attorneys practice.
Leveraging our knowledge of AI, we have used it to create a timeline of 3,000 emails with a summary of each, assess the strengths and weaknesses of a complaint, compare real estate offers and commercial leases, prepare responses to discovery, compare depositions against discovery, and more.
Founder
EffektivAI founder Ms. Schwartz brings over 30 years of firsthand experience automating businesses and training their teams, helping organizations across industries work smarter. That record is what sets EffektivAI apart: she knows how real businesses and law firms operate, where they lose time, and how to close the gap.
Ms. Schwartz holds numerous professional certifications, including credentials from the U.S. government (Office of Accessible Systems & Technology), Microsoft, IBM, and Oracle. Her clients have included work as a contractor for the U.S. Government, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Litton Corp, Hughes, and Teledyne Technologies, Inc., as well as law firms practicing in both state and federal courts, brokerage firms, and manufacturing companies.
Her greatest strength is understanding the unique challenges your practice faces. From that understanding, she and her team have built AI training tailored to your organization — every course is industry-specific, with prompts designed for the way your team works.
What We Believe
Ethics Before Efficiency: Every course starts with the rules ABA Model Rules 1.1 and 1.6, your state bar’s guidance, and the real cases where lawyers got it wrong. You will know exactly where the lines are before you ever write a prompt, so the time you save never comes at the cost of your license.
Clarity Over Complexity: You do not need to understand neural networks to use AI well, any more than you need to understand a combustion engine to drive. We teach in plain English, with real litigation tasks discovery, depositions, motions not computer science. If you can use email and Word, you can do this.
Verification Over Trust: AI is a powerful drafting assistant and a terrible authority. Every workflow we teach ends the same way: you verify, you cite-check, you stay responsible for the work product. We teach you to treat AI output the way you would treat a first-year associate’s draft useful, fast, and never filed unchecked.
What We Are Not
We are not selling AI hype, and we are not a software company pushing a tool. We do not take referral fees from AI vendors, and we will tell you plainly when AI is the wrong tool for a task.
We’re also not a law firm, and we are not attorneys. Our ethics and AI-regulation courses are built from published sources — the ABA Model Rules, state bar guidance and ethics opinions, and documented court decisions — and nothing in our training is legal advice. Rules vary by state and change quickly, so confirm anything you apply against your own state bar’s current guidance. That’s the same verification standard we teach you to apply to AI output.
Start Where the Rules Start
Our first course, Ethics and Responsibilities, covers the ethical foundation every litigator needs before touching AI and then shows you how to put it to work.
